New project on space navigation approved

Satellites are essential for navigation, communication, and security, but are increasingly vulnerable to interference, cyberattacks, and space weather. The ARISE project develops technologies for smarter and more resilient satellite systems for Intelligence Surveillance and Recognition (ISR) that can operate reliably under challenging conditions. Researchers work on new antenna technologies, self-aware satellites, and alternatives to GPS. The project also addresses the underlying juridical framework. ARISE contributes to a safe and resilient space infrastructure that is vital for modern society and the economy.
