Biography

Martijn Huiskes (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees (cum laude) in electrical engineering in 2020 and 2022, respectively, from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Delft, The Netherlands. His master’s thesis was conducted within the Terahertz Sensing Group at TU Delft, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering. His research interests include photoconductive antennas, quasi-optical systems and THz imaging.
Mr. Huiskes was the recipient of the Best Student Paper Award (Application Track) at the 50th International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and THz waves (IRMMW-THz) in 2025.
