Expertise: Unconventional phased array topologies

Biography

Leonard Besse obtained a BSc (2024) and MSc (2026) from the faculty of Aerospace Engineering at the Delft University of Technology. He wrote his MSc thesis together with the Shaping Matter Lab (SML) and the Microwave Sensing, Signals and Systems (MS3) group, working on 3D printed gradient index lenses for phased array antennas.

He joined MS3 as a Ph.D. Candidate in September 2026. His research is focused on unconventional phased array topologies, under phase 2 of the Future Network Services (FNS) program.
