MSc R.K. Chakraborty

PhD student
Signal Processing Systems (SPS), Department of Microelectronics

Expertise: automotive radar sensing

Themes: Autonomous sensor systems

Biography

Rupam completed his MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. In his masters he worked on sparse signal recovery and its application in control. Subsequently he worked in a startup called Signalchip where he carried out theoretical analysis of a tracking loop in a GNSS software receiver.

Signal processing for environment-aware radar

In future, cars will exploit multiple radars towards autonomous driving. Before this becomes a reality, several challenges will have to be solved.
